MRCB Technologies Sdn. Bhd (MRCBTech), established on November 14th 2000,
is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB),
listed in the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia. MRCBTech is a Bumiputra Company
registered with the Ministry of Finance.
The team (previously MRCB IT Dept.) has been managing the IT
systems of MRCB Group and subsidiaries for nearly 20 years.
With this experience, MRCBTech began to provide Professional IT Outsourcing, supplying skilled manpower for Systems Development projects, including the prestigious national Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS) project for over 800,000 Malaysian Government civil employees as part of the Malaysian Electronic Government (EG) Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) initiative.
MRCBTech has embarked to implement, support and maintain Enterprise Computer Systems, Applications, Network, E-mail, Websites, Portals, Intranet, Security and Data Centres for many organizations. MRCBTech developed the ICT solutions to create value for Royal Malaysian Police and Telekom Malaysia Berhad to achieve their business goals. MRCBTech implemented the mySAP ERP and later developed a CRM solution for the Property Sector for MRCB Group, Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) awarded MRCBTech to design, install and commission a Storage Area Network (SAN) solution to centralize their entire mission critical on-line medical/hospital system data as part of their Integrated Hosptial Information Systems. Other organizations serviced by MRCBTech include Perkeso, TNB, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Pertanian Malaysia, Multimedia University and UNITEN.
MRCBTech also provides total engineering solutions for Telecommunications covering
In-building Mobile, Outdoor, Wireless Broadband, Leased Lines, Dedicated Internet, VOIP and Unified Communications (Free.Komm). Clients include TM Cellular (TM Touch), Celcom, Maxis, Digi, and TIME dotCom. Reference sites include KL Sentral Station, Plaza Sentral & 1-Sentral office blocks, Concorde, Hilton International and Le Meridian Hotels, Sooka Sentral & Tabung Haji buildings. MRCBTech has also completed a TNB project to upgrade the SDH Fibre Optic Backbone connecting MRCBTech was
awarded a project by TNB to upgrade the SDH Fibre Optic Backbone connecting more than 90
substations nationwide.
On ICT Infrastructure, MRCBTech has broad experiences in implementing intelligent building components like Integrated Security
Management Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, Building Automation/Management Systems (BAS/BMS), PA/MATV, and Surveillance Systems. In the energy sector MRCBTech provided skill professionals to Siemens to deploy SCADA/EMS for Sabah Electricity in the Sabah East-West Grid Interconnection project. MRCBTech is involved in Toll Collection System and Traffic Control & Surveillance Systems for several Highways. SPNB awarded MRCBTech to upgrade its fibre optic for STAR LRTO to be able to deploy additional applications throughout its 24 stations.
